Second Wind plays Wokingham Baptist Church on Sunday 13 December at 7pm: £13 in advance, under-16s free, with a raffle for the food-sharing charity SHARE.
Second Wind, one of the bands within Bracknell and Wokingham Community Band (BWCB), plays its Christmas concert at Wokingham Baptist Church, Milton Road, RG40 1DE, on Sunday 13 December 2026, from 7pm to 9.30pm. Advance tickets are £13 for adults, and children aged 16 and under go free with an adult.
The band says it has “an exciting new programme” for the night, with “a variety of popular and festive pieces to suit all tastes, promising an enjoyable and uplifting experience for everyone”. The poster names Kevin Ransom as conductor. According to the band’s own page, he formed Second Wind in 2011, and it now has more than 40 players, many of them founder members.

Raffle for SHARE
There will be a raffle on the night for SHARE, which the band describes as “the food-sharing charity that supports our local community”. SHARE is the charity the band picked to support for the whole year. Sonia Russell, writing for Second Wind, said: “We’re raising money for SHARE at the concert (it’s the charity we selected for the whole year) so we’re looking for as much support as possible.”
The band’s advice is to “get your tickets early so that you don’t miss out on an evening of festive entertainment in the heart of Wokingham!”
Questions about the concert go to the band at second.wind@bwcb.org.
